Originally built in 1892 and renovated in 2001, Villa Varala has an air of dignity. The Villa is exceptionally suitable for family occasions: birthdays, baptisms, confirmation celebrations, graduation parties, small weddings etc. The middle floor – rooms Sali and Kanslia – are commonly used for such celebrations. Additional space is available downstairs in Lilja and Kallio. The rooms are also used for lectures and they can be booked for meetings. All rooms have 55” TV screens.
Guided tours of the museum floor are available on request. Additional fee is required.
Rooms at Villa Varala
The Villa has four separate rooms, a lofty foyer and spacious decks on two floors overlooking Lake Pyhäjärvi. Each space has a separate entrance.
First floor: Kallio (8 people), Lilja (12 people)
Second floor: Sali (28 people), Kanslia (8 people)
Third floor: museum floor
Seating capacities mentioned above are for guidance only.
Unfortunately the Villa is non-accessible for wheelchair users.
